The 54th Annual Sports Meet of NPS, Gopalapuram, held on the 15th of December '23, was a grand event at the Rajaratnam Stadium, Egmore. Colonel Arindam Majumdhar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, receiving a guard of honour from the school's perfect Scouts and Guides.

The day kicked off with a delightful choir rendition, offering salutations to the Almighty followed by the March past by the students of the four houses and the contingent of the Bharath Scouts and Guides. Various vibrant Callisthenic display of yoga, Hula hooping, dumbbells, Flag & Ribbon dance were performed with full enthusiasm by the students which was a treat to al the spectators.

The Pyramid display showcased by the senior school students, brought out a spirit of camaraderie, discipline with utmost coordination and collaboration.

The athletes, fuelled by enthusiasm, engaged in a day of intense competition, with dedication in various track and field events, as well as team competitions. A special game was also organized for Parents who demonstrated a very impressive participation.

Medals and certificates were awarded to all the winners. Points were awarded to each House based on the performance of their representatives. The Brilliance House emerged victorious in the overall Championship.

The Sports Day was a resounding success, embodying the spirit of competition, team spirit and personal growth. It provided a platform for students to showcase their skills and fostered an environment of sportsmanship and enthusiasm. The event undoubtedly left everyone with cherished memories and a sense of accomplishment.
