On 18th December, 2023 the students of NPS Gopalapuram held an event to celebrate the revolutionary Tamil Poet Mahakavi Subramania Bharathi, fondly known as Bharathiyar. The show commenced with the ‘Tamil Thai Vaazhthu’ – an Invocation to Mother Tamil, followed by a welcome speech on the importance of celebrating Bharathiyar Vizha. Performances were held to showcase the Tamil culture, dance and literature. The children rendered patriotic songs with enthusiasm. The Program came to an end with the rendering of ‘Vazhga Thamizh Mozhi’ dance.
