The theme of the Sanskrit Day program was “Vande Mataram”. It depicted the greatness of our Mother land, hailing its rich culture and varied heritage. The program started with a speech in Sanskrit on the importance of celebrating Sanskrit day. The children rendered a Vedic prayer invoking the blessing of almighty. Two patriotic songs were sung mellifluously along with percussion instruments. Subsequent programs were Motto of different Government Organizations, Slokas remembering great personalities, a virtual tour of India, Krishna Jayanti Celebration and three splendid dance performances. A Birthday song in Sanskrit was sung for the children who celebrated their birthday on that day. The Program came to an end with the rendering of Vande Mataram song.
