The Christmas programme commenced with the nativity scene performed by the tiny tots of Grades 1 and 2. Children beautifully presented- the birth of The Lord Jesus followed by an Angel dance and Christmas tree dance (accompanied by Santa Claus). The nativity scene concluded with the choir singing the “Friendly beasts” song. This was followed by a sequence of beautiful dances performed by students of Grade 3 to 5 to the songs ” it’s Christmas Time” and “Yesu Pirandaare” and “All I want for Christmas is you”.

Children wore a Santa hat for the final song, “Jingle Bells”. Six Santas entered with the Santa costume and distributed balloons to the boys and satin ribbons to the girls to make the dance colourful. The dance ended with children wishing the audience “A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. “Students of Grades 6 to 9 sang a medley of carols to set the mood for the season.
