An extraordinarily engaging series of orientation called ‘A Day at School’ was held for parents before the academic year commenced, to give an overview of the school’s mission, vision and values, besides familiarizing them in an interesting way with school policies, examination scheme, co-scholastic programmes and parent-involvement opportunities amongst others. A warm welcome from the senior leaders set in motion a day filled with hands-on experiences for the parents in a real classroom setting. Grade 1 parents also had a school tour. A greater parent-school partnership and growth is what these events fostered for all stakeholders.
