National Public School joined the global celebration of music on World Music Day by organizing a special program, in the school auditorium.

A rich tapestry of soothing musical compositions rent the air a magical note. In music’s quintessential way it brought the discerning avid connoisseur as well as the amateur appreciating the melodious fare of vocal performances, soul-stirring instrumental pieces, and popular Carnatic renditions. This symphony of outstanding performances being lapped up by an adoring audience was a harmony heard to be believed. Students also shared an informative account of the origin and significance of World Music Day, helping everyone appreciate the global nature of this celebration.
