On 22 July 2022, students from Grade 6 to 12 students had cast their votes to elect their representatives. Campaigning for the elections was carried out between 20th and 21st of July. As a follow up, the Investiture Ceremony of National Public School, Gopalapuram, Chennai for the year 2022-23 was held on Friday, 29th July 2022. Portfolios of the elected leaders were decided based on the credentials of the student and the votes polled.

Rithun Krishna and Shakti Sridevi won the elections with an overwhelming majority. They were appointed as the Head Girl and Head Boy.

Abhinav Chandra and Sara Alita Arun triumphed over the other contestants by scoring a resounding victory and were appointed as assistant Head Boy and assistant Head Girl.

This was followed by the announcement of the portfolios for the other contestants and the office bearers for Sports Council, 2022.

The outgoing SPL’s officially handed over their appointments to the newly elected SPL’s. The impressive programme culminated with the principal administering Oath of Office to the Head Girl and the Head Boy.
