Prerna-2024 marked the second edition of our annual dance drama festival, centered around the theme "Shresth Bharat - Land of Cultural Diversity." The event beautifully showcased the intricate connection between our culture and heritage with our diverse landforms.

The festival took us on a mesmerizing journey from the majestic snow-capped Himalayas to the vast Indian Ocean, traversing through lush green forests, rivers, deserts, and plains. Over 250 students from grades 6-8 participated in this cultural extravaganza, presenting captivating mythological skits in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Sanskrit, along with enthralling dance performances, including Bharatanatyam, vibrant folk dances, and the Thillana. The students played a pivotal role in crafting scripts for narration and skits, providing voiceovers, preparing credit slides, and performing live background music. Overall, the event provided a platform for students to delve into unexplored realms.

As Prerna-2024 drew to a close, it lived up to its name by inspiring the students to champion the cause of conservation and safeguard the rich diversity of India's landforms and cultural heritage.
