The Pongal Vizha was virtually celebrated on 12th January 2022 and the program depicted the greatness of Harvest festival.

It started with a power point presentation about the birth and life of Andal along with dance on Tiruppavai. The children spoke about the importance and significance of Bhogi and Pongal Vizha. They also sang songs mellifluously and performed various dances. Students debated on the topic –“The necessity of celebrating festivals” They also showcased Gramia kalaigal like Karagattam, theppaattam, kolaatam, silambaattam, gummiadi. The program ended with the Uriyadi fest and set the mood for the Pongal vacation for one and all.
