The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at our school with an immense outpouring of enthusiasm and respect. The school campus was transformed into a vibrant display of patriotism, with tricolored decorations meticulously crafted by students from grades 1 to 5 adorning every corner.. The melodious strains of a prayer song, performed by the school choir, filled the air, evoking a sense of reverence and unity among the gathering.

The solemn moment arrived as the Principal hoisted the national flag, a symbol of our hard-fought freedom, while the entire assembly stood in quiet devotion, accompanying the flag's ascent with the stirring strains of the national anthem. Following this poignant moment, students from grades 6 to 8 took center stage, delivering a heart-stirring patriotic song that resonated through the school grounds, stirring the emotions of all present.

The spirit of unity in diversity was prominently showcased as students delivered patriotic speeches in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Sanskrit, each eloquently emphasizing the historical significance of freedom and paying homage to the indomitable spirit of our great leaders who paved the way for our independence.

In the run-up to the day various activities were conducted. Vegetable in the tricolor were carved to make beautiful designs by students of grades 3 to 5. Students of grades 1 and 2 portrayed as erstwhile patriotic heroes in the fancy dress show.
