The Graduation Day of the 2019-20 batch of Grade 12 students of National Public School, Gopalapuram, was conducted at the school premises on 7th February,2020. Dr. V Dedeepiya Devaprasad, Consultant Head, Apollo Specialty Hospital, presided over the function. Mr. Harikrishnan, Chief Executive, National Public Group of Schools, graced the occasion.

After the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, the Principal, Mrs. Jayanthi Sampath formally welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest, an alumnus of NPS, in his keynote address lauded the efforts of the school in providing a holistic education to the students. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the teachers stressing the role played by the teachers in moulding each student in becoming responsible individuals. Mr.Harikrishnan, in his message, spoke about the need for a student to develop grit and determination to succeed in life.

The students were declared graduates by the Principal after which the students rendered the school anthem. The school toppers and subject toppers of AISSCE 2019 were honoured for their outstanding performance in the board examination 2019. The vote of thanks marked the culmination of the programme. All the teachers were invited on stage and given a standing ovation for their sincere work, commitment and dedication.
