Bharatiyar Vizha, commemorating the birth anniversary of the great Tamil poet Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, was celebrated with enthusiasm on December 11. Students from Grades 3 to 8 actively participated in the event. The program began with the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu – anthem of the state, followed by a brief speech highlighting Bharatiyar’s legacy as a visionary poet and freedom fighter. Students performed energetic dances set to his inspiring lyrics and passionately recited his spirited poems. The event provided a good platform for the students to appreciate Bharatiyar's contributions to literature and nationalism, reflecting his enduring influence on young minds and celebrating the Tamil culture and pride.
