The 52nd Annual Sports Meet of National Public School, Gopalapuram, Chennai was held in December,2021 Mr. Hari Krishnan, Chief Executive of National Public Group of Schools was the Guest of honour. Mrs. B Sujatha, the Principal hoisted the School Sports flag and gave the welcome address. This was followed by the presentation of the Annual Sports Report by S Venithra, the Sports Secretary.

Mr.Harikrishnan, the Guest of honour, declared the Sports Meet open. In his keynote address, Mr. Harikrishnan reiterated the significance of practice, resilience and sportsmanship in the overall development of a student.

The highlight of the Sports Meet was the amazing display of the students of Grades I to XI who showcased their talents in a plethora of fitness related demonstrations that included Calisthenics, Yoga and Kalari paayittu to name a few. The skill and strength exhibited by the students was appreciated by one and all.

Brilliance House bagged the overall Championship Award and Excellence House was declared the Runners up. The eventful day concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Sports Secretary, V Abhinav.
