A classical music and dance inter-school fest

“KALAANUBHAVAM 2022, the Inter-school Classical Music and Dance fest was held on 26th November 2022 at the school auditorium. “Kalaanubhavam’’ is an initiative of the students to pay homage to India’s lively, diverse, rich and vibrant culture. Having started as an online event in 2020, Kalaanubhavam provided a platform for talented students from the city schools to showcase their talents in the field of Indian Classical dance and music. This year, the competitions were conducted offline for the first time and the 80 participants who took part in it enlivened the audience with their phenomenal performances. Prominent icons from the fields of music and dance like Dr S Mallika, Ms Brindha Manickavasagan, Shri. Vignesh Ishwar, Smt. Gayatri Krishnaveni Lakshmanan, Ms Dhivya Srilakshmi, Shri. S Govindarajan Shri. S Kavichelvan and Ms Shreya Devnath were invited to be the judges for the various events. At the end of each event, the judges enthralled the audience with their exhilarating performances.

The participants, the judges of all the events and the senior leaders of the school were full of praise for the student organisers for having planned and executed the event with meticulous precision .
